  Dr. Candace Thrash, MD

  Owner

  Dr. Candace Thrash is a board certified dermatologist specializing in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. With over 10 years experience, Dr. Thrash is an expert in treating minor and serious skin conditions. Dr. Thrash is a graduate of the University of Texas and earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing her internship at Northwestern University and her residency at the world-famous Cook County Hospital in Chicago, she established her own practice. When she and her family moved to Lake Travis, Fresh Dermatology was founded. Dr. Thrash takes a very individual approach to cosmetic dermatology. Because no two faces are exactly alike, no two treatments should be exactly the same.   Maria Jones is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and comes to our office with 4 years of experience in Dermatology. She’s skilled in providing dermatology care for patients of all ages. Maria is experienced in diagnosing and managing both common and rare skin conditions including: warts, acne, rashes, comprehensive skin cancer screenings, and more.

  Lisa Chiarelli

  R.N.

  Lisa is a registered nurse with over twenty years of experience. She specialized in pediatrics, and has experience in plastic surgery and urgent care. Lisa moved from California over ten years ago, and definitely considers Austin home. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out and shopping.

  April Matthews

  L.A.

  April has been a licensed Medical Aesthetician for over ten years, and joined Fresh Dermatology in October of 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Texas State University, and her aesthetics license from Vogue College of Cosmetology. April has a passion for beautiful skin and enjoys forming close partnerships with her patients to help them achieve their skin care goals. April specializes in peels, facials, and laser treatments and has particular interest in acne, hyperpigmentation, and maturing skin.
